Uncovering the Secrets of Your Breath to Feel More Calm & Confident
Have you ever noticed how your breathing changes when you feel anxious? It can get shallow, tight, or fast. We rarely think about the way we breathe, and most of us were never taught how powerful this simple, constant function is. Yet, your breath is always with you, and it holds a secret: it can be your most immediate tool for feeling calmer.
What if you knew how to gently release anxious feelings just through your exhales? Or how to find a little energy boost with a simple technique?
We are so pleased to welcome our friend and fellow coach, Phil Williams, who joins us for this gentle self-study workshop. Phil, an NLP Practitioner and Blue Health Coach, has personally used these breathing practices to help manage his own anxiety and support others in moving away from feelings of panic.
This session is a kind invitation to discover the quiet, powerful relationship between your breath and your emotions, helping you feel more grounded, resilient, and ready to join in when life calls.
Finding Your Steady Place
When anxiety hits, it can feel like you have no control over what your body is doing. Phil’s approach offers a lovely way to reclaim a little bit of that control. By learning a few intentional breathing techniques, you can send a gentle message of safety to your nervous system.
Phil shares the very practices that have helped him and the people he works with to find greater peace and confidence in their day-to-day lives.
In this supportive workshop, we will explore:
- The direct, clear link between the way you breathe and how your body and mind feel.
- How to use simple exhales to gently release stored anxious feelings and physical tension.
- Breathing techniques that you can use to lift your energy or find a sense of focus when you need it.
- Ways to use intentional breathing to build your resilience and capacity for calm.
- Practical strategies to move beyond feelings of anxiety and panic, right in the moment.
Phil is a warm and knowledgeable guide, sharing insights he’s gained from methods like Buteyko and The Wim Hof Method. He shows us that these techniques don’t need to be complicated to be effective.
