Are you passionate about fostering community and celebrating quieter voices? Quiet Connections is looking for a proactive and organised Community and Operations Coordinator to play a key role in our community’s growth and positive change. This position is ideal for someone with a love for systems and processes, a commitment to meaningful work, and a desire to support those who are quieter by nature.

Role Overview

As our Community and Operations Coordinator, you’ll help ensure the smooth running of Quiet Connections’ daily operations and projects, like our community Meet Ups. You’ll manage a range of tasks, from organising events and bookkeeping to coordinating with our volunteers on event needs and creating content for our community channels.

About You

You’re someone who brings warmth and empathy to your work, with a strong commitment to inclusivity and social impact. You have a knack for building trusting relationships, from volunteers to community members, and feel energised by a mission-driven role that celebrates diversity of personality and voice.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in project or event coordination

The Role

  • Location: Mostly home-based, with meetings in Redruth, Cornwall
  • Hours: 30 hours per week, flexible
  • Salary: £23,000 – £26,000 pro rata depending on experience (2-year fixed term, with potential extension)
