Cultivating Curiosity, Compassion and Courage for Growth with Vicky Otter
Many of us carry a quiet sense of not enoughness through life. It can appear in different ways – feeling too quiet, too shy, too serious, too emotional, too loud, or not brave, confident or relaxed enough. However it shows up, this sense of lack can shape how we see ourselves and how we move through the world.
In this two-part exploration, Wellbeing Coach Vicky Otter gently invites us to turn towards these feelings with understanding and care. Rather than avoiding or resisting them, she guides us to explore what happens when we meet our inner experiences with three essential qualities: curiosity, compassion and courage.
By understanding how our minds work and learning to hold ourselves with kindness, we can begin to see that we were never broken or lacking at all. We can start to reconnect with who we truly are beneath old stories of self-doubt.
Workshop 1: Understanding Curiosity, Compassion and Courage
In Part One, Vicky offers an introduction to these three innate qualities and how they can help us grow. She explores how our minds create feelings of lack and why it can feel so personal and frightening to look at them.
Through calm reflection, she shows how bringing curiosity, compassion and courage to our inner experiences can begin to free us from the belief that something is wrong with us.
This workshop is especially meaningful if you:
- Often feel you’re not good enough or somehow “too much” or “too little”
- Find it difficult to accept or be kind to yourself
- Feel afraid to look closely at your thoughts or emotions
- Want to understand yourself with greater patience and gentleness
Vicky creates a safe, spacious environment to explore these feelings and discover the wisdom they hold.

Workshop 2: Deepening the Exploration
In Part Two, Vicky continues this journey, deepening our understanding of how curiosity, compassion and courage can transform the way we relate to ourselves.
Together, we explore what it means to truly hold our sense of lack — to cradle it, rather than resist it — and to see what lies beneath. This is where real growth and freedom can begin to take root.
This second workshop supports you to:
- Continue building a kinder, more curious relationship with yourself
- Develop courage to turn towards uncomfortable feelings
- Recognise your wholeness beneath self-critical thoughts
- Strengthen the qualities that allow for calm, sustainable growth
