Feeling Stuck? Discover the Art of Fluidity with Lizzi Larbalestier

It can be easy to feel as though we are stuck, shaped entirely by our circumstances, past experiences, or even our own habits. Sometimes it seems as if our sense of self has been cast in stone. Yet, just as the tide moves and reshapes the shore, we too are capable of shifting, growing and finding new flow.

In this one-hour workshop, Lizzi Larbalestier, Ocean Advocate and Blue Health Coach, invites you to explore fluidity, examining how energy, thought, and emotion are constantly moving within and around us. Coastal metaphors and ocean-inspired reflection offer a gentle way to look at your life, thoughts and behaviours, helping you to see where you might be stuck and how to move forward with greater ease.

Exploring the Art of Fluidity

This workshop offers a shift in perspective and an invitation to find your flow. It helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings and behaviour interact and how small changes in awareness can lead to momentum and growth.

You will be guided to consider big ideas such as:

  • The nature of consciousness
  • The power of thought
  • Where you are emotionally right now
  • Unlearning your self
  • What we mean by hard wiring
  • The difference between identity and habit
  • Life as a shifting process

As Lizzi points out, we often act based on who we thought we were yesterday. This means we are not fully responding to the present moment. Who you are is always evolving. In fact, every seven to ten years, all of your cells are replaced and you become an entirely new you.

“You don’t paddle out to sea using yesterday’s forecast.”

Time to Reflect

After watching the workshop, spend some time journaling to deepen your exploration. Lizzi suggests three reflective questions to help you consider who you are today and how you might show up in the world in alignment with your true self. Take around 30 minutes, tune into the wisdom of your head, heart and gut, and notice what arises. There are no right or wrong answers, just personal reflection, like studying the map before you set sail.

  1. What three habits might not be truly you?
  2. What three habits could more accurately express who you really are?
  3. What three things have you achieved that reflect who you are now?
