Your Meet Up host
Hi, I'm Ross. I'm here to guide the meet up and answer any questions or concerns that you might have. I'll be there to greet you alongside Hayley.
I consider myself a sensitive introvert and I’ve dealt with social anxiety tendencies throughout my life. Being painfully shy since childhood affected my ability to include myself and be seen in the world. I have felt left out and excluded in all aspects of my life due to my quietness and unwillingness to shout out my achievements; my talents and persona tending to give way to more confident, extroverted individuals. It has been a long journey to self-belief but gradually I have accepted my traits and used them to benefit my place in world and have slowly accumulated likeminded individuals around me. QC has been so important in my personal development recently and opened many opportunities and pathways to new experiences and friendships, giving me a renewed sense of confidence in who I am and how I am perceived. Thanks to the weekly meetups I feel acknowledged, confident, and able to communicate and accept myself and others. I wish to create comfortable, safe, and enjoyable environments for likeminded people who have experienced the same adversity as myself and make them feel valued for who they are through social gatherings and connection. I feel we all need to be accepted in all aspects of life but just need a little encouragement from quieter people to achieve our greatness.
