Join our Birthday Celebration Picnic at Godrevy Beach Meet Up

Connect with likeminded quieteers as we celebrate Quiet Connections 6th Birthday, with a quiet picnic on the scenic Godrevy Beach on Saturday 13th May from 11:30am.

This Meet Up is designed to help you enjoy something you might not normally do with likeminded people in a calm and gentle way that feels authentic to your true quiet self. It’s a safe space for you to gently stretch your comfort zone as part of a community of quieteers who truly get you.

We can’t wait to welcome you.

Your Meet Up Leader

Hayley Stanton & Stacie Clark

Hi we're Stacie & Hayley.

You'll recognise us by now; we're the original quieteers. We too, still experience feelings of discomfort in social settings and connecting with others doesn't always feel easy for us either. After many years of exploring, individually and together, to help ease those doubts and anxieties we know that connecting with the right people, such as you likeminded quieteers, is an uplifting, energising and comforting experience. It's important to us that you feel connected, seen, heard, and valued here at Quiet Connections, which is why we're looking forward to welcoming you along to this Meet Up.

What to Expect

It’s okay to talk and it’s okay to be quiet too

We're all quieteers here. Sharing is a really special part of connecting as a group together; we invite you to ask each other questions, offer your own thoughts and ideas, and take in what the other is saying. But, we also understand that some days you might like to join in quietly, too, and perhaps listen more than speak. You're welcome to connect in a way that feels good for you.

You can go at your own pace

Whilst this will be a celebration of 6 years of Quiet Connections, there’s absolutely no pressure to participate or set any big goals. You’re invited to do what feels right for you. Our intention is to help you connect with one another so that you can nurture your sense of belonging within our community.

A relaxed, calming environment

Godrevy is protected by the National Trust and has a gorgeous sandy beach, beautiful cliffs and dramatic coves to view. Plus, if we're lucky, we might spot a seal or two. Being by the sea has many benefits to our wellbeing too, so this is the perfect opportunity to get in a little Blue Health and connect with nature to give your wellbeing a boost.

Picnic & Birthday Cupcakes

We'll find a quiet spot on the beach to enjoy our picnic. Please bring along your own lunch and drink and any treats you want to share with your fellow quieteers. You may wish to bring something to sit on as well, like a blanket. We'll supply some yummy cupcakes for us all... it is a birthday after all!

A community of understanding

Our gentle-natured team and your fellow Quiet Connectors attending are likely to share similar feelings and experiences with you. So here you can connect with people who truly get you - and feel part of a supportive, welcoming community together.
