Join our Halloween Crafting Workshops
We will be running workshops for adults alongside our Hayle Meet Ups at the Hayle Day Care Centre Annexe on Mondays 5th and 19th October from 1-3pm.
This Pop Up Meet Up is designed to help you enjoy something you might not normally do, with likeminded people, in a calm and gentle way that feels authentic to your true quiet self. It’s a safe space for you to have a go at something fun and perhaps gently stretch your comfort zone as part of a community of quieteers who truly get you.
We will be making a range of easy Halloween themed items, such as pumpkins, ghosts and spiders, using a range of crafting methods.
We will also be running separate, dedicated Christmas themed workshops in November, doing cards and other craft makes.

What to expect
What’s the workshop going to be like?
The workshop is designed to be calm, welcoming and low-pressure. There is no expectation to create or engage in any specific way. Quiet socialising is encouraged, but will not be expected.
Do you need to bring anything?
All crafting materials are provided, feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks.
Can't join us at this workshop?
We will be running separate, Christmas themed workshops in November, doing cards and other craft makes, and card making workshops in September.

Getting here
- By car: Parking is in the pay and display car park adjoining the annexe.
- By train: The Hayle train station is a 10-15 minute walk (0.6 miles) away
- By bus: There are bus stops 5 minute walk away (0.2 miles), either by the Passmore Edwards building and opposite at the War Memorial, or in Copperhouse.
