Join us for a FREE stained glass workshop for adults at Create Contemporary Crafts Hub, Camborne on Monday 6th July 2026, 6pm-8pm.
As part of HushFest, this workshop is designed to help you enjoy something you might not normally do with likeminded people in a calm and gentle way that feels authentic to your true quiet self. It’s a safe space for you to have a go at something fun and perhaps gently stretch your comfort zone as part of a community of quieteers who truly get you.

Zanna is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Penzance. As someone who deeply observes and processes the rich, sometimes overwhelming details of life, she finds her greatest inspiration in simply noticing the world around her.
What to expect
What’s the workshop going to be like?
The workshop will be gently guided by Zanna from Create CIC, who will teach you how to make a simple, beautiful glass sun catcher using the traditional copper foil technique.
You don't need any prior experience or artistic skills to join in. You will learn how to select your pieces of colourful glass, carefully wrap the edges in copper foil tape, and solder them together to create a stunning piece of art that catches the light. At the end of the evening, you will get to take your finished work home with you.
What's the space going to be like?
We've designed our space to be calm, flexible, and comfortable. In our community, we recognise that silence is a natural strength, and both quietude and gentle chatter are welcomed.
You are invited to bring your authentic self - whether you'd like to chat or create in total silence, your quiet presence is deeply valued. Our main hope is simply that you leave feeling comfortable, included, and proud of whatever you create.
