Join Our ParkLive Meet Ups in 2025
Connect with likeminded quieteers for ParkLive at Kimberley Park in Falmouth on Sundays throughout 2025 (dates below) any time from 12.00pm to 5:30pm. Your Quiet Connectors will be there from 1:00pm until 4:00pm to greet you. However, you may want to arrive earlier (or stay later), and that's fine too - there are often other quieteers who do the same.
This Pop Up Meet Up is designed to help you enjoy something you might not normally do with likeminded people in a calm and gentle way that feels authentic to your true quiet self. It’s a safe space for you to have a go at something fun and perhaps gently stretch your comfort zone as part of a community of quieteers who truly get you.
We can’t wait to welcome you.

Hi, I’m Hayley.
I, too, am a quieter person. As a highly sensitive introvert, I love and appreciate my quiet strengths now, but I spent much of my life not feeling good enough and experiencing social anxiety. I missed so many opportunities and connections because I was afraid of being judged harshly, criticised and rejected –and because I doubted that I had the ‘right’ personality to succeed. Now, I’m passionate about helping quiet people discover their unique qualities, gifts, passions and experiences and explore how best to use these to express themselves more authentically, connect more meaningfully and contribute to their world in a way that works with their quieter or more sensitive nature – and I’d love to connect with you at one of our Meet Ups.

Connector & Director
Angela Hatherell
Hi, I’m Angela. I’ve spent my life quietly working my way through several different careers, having trained as an architect and worked in practice, research and education, and also in film, television and arts management. I always felt most at home by the sea, so in 2018 I made the decision to move to Cornwall with my cockapoo, Artie.
Once here I cofounded Create CIC in Camborne, with the aim of giving anyone access to creativity, regardless of experience, ability or income. We run workshops, and offer access to equipment and studio space, for pottery, glass and jewellery. If you’re ever in town pop by and say hello!
As a quiet person who is also a director of a community interest company in Cornwall, discovering Quiet Connections has been a revelation to me. It has challenged my perception of my own and others’ quietness and allowed me to see it as a strength rather than a barrier – I can be successful, socially and professionally, because of, not in spite of, my quietness.

What to expect
Free Live Music
ParkLive features a variety of local musical talent performing across the main park stage and a second smaller acoustic stage. Performance slots are typically 25 minutes and acts are suitable for family enjoyment and are mostly original content. The show is hosted by Source FM.
A relaxed, welcoming environment
The park is a lovely space in the middle of Falmouth to meet up, listen to the music and quietly connect with fellow quieteers. There's plenty of room in the park for us to meet up and have our own quiet space and still be able to have a quiet chat if you want to.
A community of understanding
Our gentle-natured group leaders and the quieteers attending our Meet Ups are likely to share similar feelings and experiences with you. So here you can connect with people who truly get you - and feel part of a supportive, welcoming community as we explore something new together.
Join for as long as you like
ParkLive starts at midday and finishes around 5.30pm. Your Quiet Connectors will be there to greet you from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, but feel free to come earlier (or stay later). A link to the Falmouth WhatsApp group will be provided when you sign up using the booking form below. You can use this to message us on the day to find out where we are sitting, or send an email to meetups@quietconnections.co.uk if you would like someone to come and greet you.
What to bring & on-site facilities
The festival is out in the open so it's best to bring your own blanket or seats to sit on and make sure you bring some warm clothes. You're welcome to bring your own food and drink. No alcohol is allowed on site. Food and drinks are also available from the park cafe and mobile vendors supporting the event. There are toilets in the park. The park also has a play area for children and there are often also community stalls and other activities.
If the weather is extremely bad then the festival will be called off, and we'll message you to let you know.
