Join our Winter Wood Meet Up

Connect with likeminded quieteers for an evening of storytelling and wonder with Rogue Otherworld at Tehidy Woods (nr Portreath), Thursday 29th December from 4.45pm to 7.00pm.

This Pop Up Meet Up is designed to help you enjoy something you might not normally do with likeminded people in a calm and gentle way that feels authentic to your true quiet self. It’s a safe space for you to gently stretch your comfort zone as part of a community of quieteers who truly get you.

Hi, I’m Stacie.

I’ll be leading this Pop Up Meet Up alongside Hayley. I’ll be here to greet you and answer any questions or concerns that you might have. I, too, identify as a quiet person. I used to be so fearful and anxious about speaking to people that I avoided social situations, dropped A Levels and even left jobs. If only I knew back then what I do now - that I’m more capable than I ever thought I was! Now, I’m a qualified NLP coach and the Chief Experience Officer at Quiet Connections. I’m passionate about helping people to express their truest self and I love creating environments that encourage quieter people to speak up, thrive and fulfil their potential. I would love to have you join me at this Meet Up so you can do just that.

What to expect

A festive spirit

Together, we’ll be watching a show with live music, festive stories, winter wonders -and you can buy delicious hot chocolates, mulled wine and mince pies and snacks too.

A relaxed, welcoming environment

The Winter Wood show is held in a warm marquee so you can sit down and watch the show in comfort.

Winter weather

Winter Wood celebrates the Cornish winter weather with a short walk through the magical forest before you arrive at the heated marquee. The show will go ahead in all but the most extreme conditions, so dress for the weather and the magic of winter.

It’s okay to talk and it’s okay to be quiet too

We understand that you may prefer to ease into conversation gradually, or that some days you might like to simply listen. We welcome both quietude and chatter.

You can go at your own pace

Our intention is to help you grow, but there’s absolutely no pressure to participate or set any big goals. You’re invited to do what feels right for you.

Tehidy Woods (North Cliffs) Near Portreath

Getting here by car: Tehidy Woods North Cliffs is situated between Portreath and Gwithian on the B3301. If you go to Portreath you can take the B3301 towards Hayle and Gwithian. There are signs and arrows along the B3301 from the top of Portreath hill.

• What 3 Words App: Follow roaming.sparkes.dined
• Google Map: Follow Tehidy Country Park Education Field, Camborne, TR14 0TW – this will get you to the place and you’ll see Rogue Otherworld parking signs to follow before you arrive at the education field.
• Don’t follow signs to Tehidy Country Park –that’s a different entrance and a 10min drive from where you need to be.
• Don’t park at the Tehidy Country Park North Cliffs Car Park – you need to go approximately 500m further along the B3301 (with the sea on your right).
