Learn new ways to manage anxious feelings, appreciate who you are and believe in yourself, to feel more confident in your life.
We run a number of workshops throughout the year to help and you’ll have opportunities to hear from other professionals who collaborate with us to bring you new insights into mental health.
With Speaking Connections, you’ll start growing your confidence in social situations so you can more easily achieve what’s truly important to you in life.
We meet at Cafe Chaos in Truro on the second Monday of the month to practise having conversations one to one and in small groups, slowly stretching our comfort zones together.
Pitch and Presentation Practise
You’ll find a safe space to practise your pitches and presentations with us so you’ll feel more comfortable when it’s time for the real thing.
We provide the supportive space you need to have a go at your college presentation, business pitch, best man speech or something else entirely, with reassurance and encouragement of people who all feel nervous about presenting too. You’ll take away encouraging feedback and pointers from the group.
Quiet Social Connections
Quietly connect with people who feel the same way and try new things amongst friends.
Regular social gatherings for our community to get together, make friends, go to new places and try new things with no pressure to be chatty, knowing we’re all comfortable with silence. In fact, we need silence sometimes.
Join in with our fun and free-to-attend awareness events throughout the year.
With opportunities to get involved, quiet spaces to chill and creative activities to help you relax, there will be something for you at our events. Events are planned for February, May, July and October.
