Join our Tehidy Woodland Walk Meet Up

Connect with likeminded quieteers for a leisurely short walk with drawing/photography time at Tehidy Country Park, Redruth on Tuesday 25th July from 2.00pm.

This Pop Up Meet Up is designed to help you enjoy something you might not normally do with likeminded people in a calm and gentle way that feels authentic to your true quiet self. It’s a safe space for you to gently stretch your comfort zone as part of a community of quieteers who truly get you.

We can’t wait to walk with you.

Your Meet Up leader

Hi, I’m Rose

I’ll be leading this Pop Up Meet Up alongside Hayley. I’ll be here to greet you and answer any questions or concerns that you might have. I have been a quieteer for several years now, starting with coaching. When I first joined Quiet Connections, I was very lonely with limited confidence, self-esteem and self-belief. I didn’t feel worthy of others time. But with Quiet Connections, I began to feel differently about myself. I discovered I could do the things I was scared of, and I was likeable. It made me feel more rounded as a person. I joined the Meet Ups, developed friendships with new people, did different group activities and had fun while being my true self… Happy Dance and all! I have really benefitted from being part of the quiet community and I can’t wait to welcome you to this Meet Up so that you can have a space to be your own authentic self, too.

What to Expect

  • It’s okay to talk and it’s okay to be quiet too

We understand that you may prefer to ease into conversation gradually, or that some days you might like to walk quietly and take in the natural world whilst simply being in the company of others. We welcome both quietude and chatter.

  • You can go at your own pace

Take a short walk at a leisurely pace along a relatively flat route before pausing in the field to chat and enjoy some photography or drawing if you want to. You're invited to walk and join in conversation at a pace that feels good for you.

  • A relaxed, calming environment

Tehidy Woods is beautiful, calming and spacious. We're likely to meet some friendly dog walkers along the way but it won't feel 'busy'.

  • A community of understanding

Our gentle-natured team and your fellow quieteers are likely to share similar feelings and experiences with you. So here you can connect with people who truly get you - and feel part of a supportive, welcoming community together.

  • You might want to bring...

a blanket to sit on, a drink, camera, journal, art materials, and your four-legged friend if they'll get on okay with other dogs (all optional)
