Join our Spring Renewal Writing for Wellbeing Workshop with Emily

Explore with likeminded quieteers for a morning of writing for wellbeing from the comfort of your own cosy home on Wednesday 12th April from 10:00am. £15.

Just like the seeds in the ground, it’s time to start re-emerging from winter. Make space to grow and see what might blossom. 

In this 1.5 hour online workshop, Emily will gently guide us through self-reflective and nature-themed journaling prompts that will help us each to explore how we’d like to show up in our world this year and what we might need to help make that happen.

Hi I’m Emily.

I’m a writer, Blue Health Coach, workshop facilitator, and fellow quieteer.  I’m passionate about creating safe spaces to connect, create and laugh together! More often than not you’ll find me outdoors, near the water, where I love to use connection to the coast to empower people to feel more confident and connected both to themselves and the world around them. I’m excited by the magic that the right support and community can create in our lives… moving towards acceptance and celebration of our quietness and sensitive natures. I can’t wait for you to join me at this workshop.

What to Expect

  • It’s okay to talk and it’s okay to be quiet too

    Sharing is a really special part of writing in a group together. But, we understand that some days you might like to join in quietly, too. So, we'll be responding to Emily’s writing prompts personally in our notebooks, and you'll also have the option to share your writing or reflections with your fellow quieteers either verbally or in the chatbox -and we invite you to connect in a way that feels good for you. 

  • You can go at your own pace

    Our intention is to help you to explore with likeminded quieteers -but there’s absolutely no pressure to participate or set any big goals. We’re using Zoom to connect and your mic will be muted unless you choose to share. Your camera can be on or off (and you can change your mind throughout as well). So, you’re invited to step into the space and contribute to the conversation when you're ready; or you can sit back and quietly observe if that’s what feels right for you.

  • Stay cosy at home

    We're meeting on zoom so you can find a calm, cosy and comfortable space at home when you join us. We invite you to snuggle up in your favourite blanket and bring a hot cuppa with you!

  • A space to be yourself

    We encourage stretching your comfort zone and trying new things. But ultimately our Meet Ups are designed to help you simply be with other quiet people in a way that feels authentic to your true, quiet, wonderful self.

  • A community of understanding

    Being amongst gentle quieteers with similar experiences, you'll share bundles of “Oh, you feel like that too?” moments, with smiles, laughter, and increasing acceptance of ourselves and each other.

How to Join Us

Wednesday 12th April from 10:00am

Please book your space using the form below. After booking your space on the workshop you’ll receive an email with the Zoom link (which you can save to your calendar). We’ll also send out a reminder with the link again the day before and the morning of the workshop. Please bring a pen and paper to this workshop.
