Join our Hayle Estuary Walk Meet Up
Connect with likeminded quieteers for a gentle Sunday morning walk at Hayle Estuary on Sunday 7 June 2026 from 9.30am for 9.45am start time.
This Pop Up Meet Up is designed to help you enjoy something you might not normally do with likeminded people in a calm and gentle way that feels authentic to your true quiet self. It’s a safe space for you to have a go at something fun and perhaps gently stretch your comfort zone as part of a community of quieteers who truly get you.

What to expect
This will be a gentle walk around Carnsew Pool and adjoining estuary area, with maybe a few birds to be seen too for any bird-watchers!
The walk will last approximately one hour and will be followed by Magic is Made in the Quiet Spaces, a Pop Up with Claire from Community Harmony Scarf at the Be Kind Vegan Coffee Caravan in Asda carpark.
The route is mostly on level terrain, but is not wheelchair accessible. Paths are narrow in places and could be muddy/stony, so appropriate footwear would be advisable.
Binoculars and bird guide books will be available to share, but please bring your own if you have them.
We will gather from 9.30am alongside the Be Kind Coffee Caravan, with a planned departure time of 9.45am. Unfortunately the Coffee Caravan is unlikely to be open before the start of the walk, but will be available for refreshments after.
Do you need to bring anything?
We'd recommend dressing for the weather and bringing some water with you.

- By car:Asda car park is free for a maximum of 3 hours with a no return policy. There is also a Cornwall Council pay and display car park in Foundry Square, Hayle, TR27 4HQ.
- By train: The nearest station is Hayle (7 min walk)
- By bus: There are nearby bus stops in Foundry Square or Hayle Viaduct. (5 min walk)
