St Austell Community Connections
27th November @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Director and Community Coordinator at Quiet Connections
Stacie experienced low self-esteem, depression & anxiety from the age of 11 and uses creativity to explore, express and work through her thoughts, feelings and ideas to manage her emotions. As an Award winning crochet & knitwear designer, you’ll often find her crocheting and creating new knitting patterns. Stacie believes that through embracing who we are, accepting our differences whilst also understanding we're essentially all the same, we can authentically lead with our hearts and this is key to living confidently, lovingly and happily, ultimately making the world a better place.
Bringing people together who are feeling socially anxious, shy and not good enough.
Our Community Connections are comfortable spaces where it’s okay to talk and it’s okay to be quiet. Share space with genuinely understanding people who can be there for you if you need someone to talk to.
We’re a community of understanding and a gentle place for you to make friends, take time out for yourself and try new things.
We’ll be providing plenty of arts and crafts materials for you to creatively self-care and express yourself; or feel free to also bring along your own projects to do, a book to read or join us simply with the intention of chatting to someone with a similar story.
Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at the CN4C Swap Shop in St Austell, Duke Street.
Please contact Stacie with any questions, or if you’d like to be connected with someone before joining to ease anxieties about attending. Email: email@example.com
When reserving your space, please donate what you can; every donation helps us to continue our needed work and support someone to grow their confidence who would otherwise be unable to access help, and they’re as grateful as we are. Thank you x
