Bringing like-minded people together in a comfortable space where it’s ok to talk and it’s ok to be quiet too.
If you’re feeling anxious in social situations, or maybe feeling shy or not good enough, this is a calm space for gently connecting with people of all ages who have similar stories, with no pressure to speak up or join in. Simply share space with genuinely understanding people who can be there for you if you need someone to talk to.
We’ll be providing plenty of arts and crafts materials for you to creatively self-care and express yourself. You’re welcome to also bring along your own projects to do, a book to read or join us simply with the intention of chatting to someone with a similar story over a cuppa!
We’re a community of understanding and a place for you to gently connect with other people, make friends, take time out for yourself and try new things, all at your own pace.
Every Thursday morning at the Donald Thomas Centre, 19 Chapel Street, Camborne, TR14 8EG (next to The Post Office and opposite Barclays Bank).
Rosewarne Car Park (TR14 8BE) is a 4 minute walk away.
Please contact Stacie with any questions, or if you’d like to be connected with someone before joining to ease any anxieties about attending. Email: email@example.com
Dropping in on the day is fine, and it’s helpful for us if you let us know you’ll be joining us. When reserving your space, please donate what you can; every donation helps us to continue our much-needed work and support someone to reduce anxiety and isolation, and grow their confidence who would otherwise be unable to access help, and they’re as grateful as we are. Thank you x
