How we’ve helped others
I went out last night with the girls and felt so confident! I was involving myself in all conversations and didn’t find myself analysing all situations. I felt free from my mind and I really enjoyed the catch up with them all. I noticed I was bringing them in to talk to me because I was acting confident. I also used the technique you showed me and it worked. I actually really felt confident. Thank you you’re really helping me.
The biggest thing that I took away with me that evening was that I needed to refocus (what was left of) my energy onto myself again. Using 2 out of the 3 exercises we went over at the workshop, I finally allowed my mind to rest. I was able to maintain and manage a lower level of anxiety and feel more confident in myself. I got some of my fight and motivation back! Woohoo!
The workshop was really well delivered and I liked that you both brought personal experiences into the teaching (and also mentioning the anxiety you were currently feeling) – it made it more relatable. I’m currently suffering with a relapse in my confidence and now I know I can start making small changes to help 🙂
Great to know I’m not alone! 🙂 I felt relaxed and I really enjoyed sharing my ideas with others and hearing others talking their experiences. I’ll definitely continue using the techniques shared!
